| Description | STEELCOR is a Research Infrustructure for the Study of Corrosion in Concrete Steel Reinforcement and Improvement of the Structural Integrity of Cyprus Buildings. STEELCOR is a multi-beneficiary Research Infrastructure for the scientific investigation of corrosion of concrete steel reinforcement in Cyprus. The main scientific activities of the RI comprise non-destructive evaluations/ tests and laboratory tests, which aim to assess steel reinforcement corrosion under various conditions as well as to evaluate the mechanical and chemical properties of corroded steel reinforcement. The RI was funded by Cyprus RPF and EU Structural Funds and is owned by the Cyprus University of Technology. The facilities of the RI are accessible to the public. |
