Description | The data generated by the large-scale survey project Growing Up in Germany (AID:A) covers the three core issues of the German Youth Institute (Deutsches Jungendinstitut, DJI) – childhood, youth and family – and complements existing information provided by official statistics. AID:A continues the previous survey research of the German Youth Institute. The project is designed as a replicative, cross-sectional study. Additionally begun is the inclusion of certain transitions to adulthood by means of the repeated questioning of the same survey subjects. The sample is drawn from the population of people living in private households, from birth until the age of 55. |
