Research Infrastructure

Bijvoet Center for Biomolecular Research

Description The Bijvoet Center for Biomolecular Research at Utrecht University in the Netherlands was founded in 1988 and aims to gain insight into the relation, at the molecular level, between the structure and the function and activity of biomolecules that are involved in recognition, interaction, and regulatory processes. To achieve this goal, the Bijvoet Center for Biomolecular Research maintains an advanced infrastructure and provides high-quality research training programs for young scientists. The Bijvoet Center coordinates the EU funded infrastructure projects PRIME-XS (proteomics) and WeNMR (computational structural biology), participates in the infrastructure projects Bio-NMR and EAST-NMR (biomolecular NMR) and acts as a Centre in the ESFRI project Instruct for integrated structural biology.
